Reaching Out
Reaching out,
Not reaching in,
Less of myself,
More of you, creep in,

Fill every part
Within this cage
With your light,
Break these chains.

Oh how I long
To be like you,
Clawing these walls,
I can't break through.

I need your love,
Your saving grace,
To release me from
This barren cage.

Pressing through
My very core,
Your love breaks through
These shackles, for

I've given in,
Not given up,
Now I'm alive,
Thanks to your love.
